Who is your audience?
Everyone has their niche... the sweet spot where they really stand out. Yet most instructors say "my material applies to learners of all levels".
While the material itself might apply to all levels, the way it is taught often does not. Therefore, our first step is to figure out who you're teaching; what they already know, what they need now, and how you contribute to their journey.
What are your cornerstones?
The most common issue with creating a custom learning experience is that the Subject Matter Expert (otherwise known as YOU!) knows too much! They want to teach all of it, because it's beloved to them and overall, they KNOW all the nuance is important.
We hear you... it's all important... and you had to start somewhere too. Overwhelming the learner ultimately inspires them to quit, not thrive.
We help you figure out what we call your Learning Cornerstones, as well as the level of information needed to support those cornerstones.
What method is best for teaching your cornerstones?
As of 2023, the modern learner is a complex blend of self-motivated yet community oriented. They are used to having information on-demand, and like being in control of when they can access content. However, they also don't thrive in a completely-solo environment.
Knowing this, we help you craft your learning plan that addresses things like... What can the learner do alone? When would they benefit from learning in a group? When would they need direct access to an instructor or coach? And how can you structure your system in a way that suits their needs and also enables you to accommodate the highest amount of learners?
What materials does the learner need to support their journey?
When learning something new, learners often need several layers to the same information... What's the big picture? What are the supporting details? What examples or stories can they hear of how it works? What kind of quick-guide can they use when applying and practicing?
We help you determine these needs, and craft participant materials that aren't too long... or too short... they're just right!
